The Need For Speed: Pro Street was released in 2007. Unlike the rest of the Need For Speed series, Pro Street features much more on being a realistic racing simulation instead of arcade style gameplay. For the first time, all the racing in Pro Street takes place on closed tracks, and as a result, there are no police in the game. The game strongly focuses on performance tuning, and even the smallest adjustment to the car's body will affect its perfmormance. There are four different game modes, Drag, Grip, Speed, and Drift, with the drag mode simply being a quarter mile or half mile drag race. The game features more photo realistic next generation graphics and more advanced physics controlling the car handling.
