The PlayStation 3 (often referred to as PS3) is the third home video game console made by Sony Computer Entertainment. Technically part of the seventh generation of consoles, it compete's with Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Nintendo's Wii. As of late 2007, it's the only console on the market featuring a Blu-ray drive, although it also supports DVDs, CDs, HDDs, and some models SACDs.
Many 60gb models feature 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, 4 USB ports, a flash card reader, SACD support, PlayStation 2 (PS2) support (some consoles via hardware and some consoles via software) and a chrome trim.
